We are one year old! To mark our first year of successful cross-European cooperation and set ourselves up for another three, we had our second in-person consortium meeting in Warsaw – three sunny days filled with discussions, presentations and the sampling of vertically grown micro greens.
We also started connecting food chain actors from different European countries by taking a group of British sheep and beef farmers on a field trip to Hungary – the first unofficial forerunner of the cross-country visits happening throughout the project (we’ll keep you posted).
And we’re continuing our series “Introducing…” – this time zooming in on our scientific coordinator, the University of Aberdeen – and our series “SPI of the month”, looking into barriers to shifting towards organic farming in the region of Valencia.

We hope you enjoy the read, Your VISIONARY Team
