Agricultural water management and governance face the challenge of integrating individual behaviors while building collective agreements among farmers, public administrations, and other social actors. This webinar brings together recent research on this topic, examining how behavioral factors influence the reconciliation of environmental and productive objectives in agriculture as well as the use of water-saving technologies. It also analyses the challenges involved in building effective systems of collective water governance across different European contexts. The session offers new empirical evidence and interdisciplinary perspectives on water, technology, and collective action, while also encouraging reflection on the development of research projects in these fields of knowledge.
