DATE
30 January 2024, 14:30–15:45 (CET)
The Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) invites all interested parties to an insightful webinar exploring the connection between public catering and organic farming in Hungary. This event aims to foster dialogue between the catering and organic sectors, addressing gaps in information, knowledge, and practical experience. By raising awareness, showcasing best practices, and identifying leverage points, the webinar seeks to promote the integration of organic products in public catering.
A common concern in Hungary is the perceived shortage of domestically produced organic raw materials and processed foods to meet public catering demands. This webinar will examine the challenges impacting the availability of organic products throughout the public catering value chain. It will also explore possible strategies to expand production capacities and strengthen collaboration between the catering and organic farming sectors.
The webinar is organized as part of VISIONARY’s case study on organic transition. The questionnaire survey linked to the case study is available on this platform.
